during my stint in ad league softball and the current pac-rim season, i've tried to listen to some hardcore crotch-grabbing jams to get me in the right mindset for game time. it's undeniable that your pre-game routine is one of the moments in life where music has its biggest influence on how you think and act.

so, disregarding the fact that my pac-rim play so far would make you think i was listening to the jonas brothers before each game, here's song #10:

this song falls behind the other hard-hitters cause the beat's a slower one and the intro takes so damn long. but that's also what sets you up for one of Biggie's finest verses. all that build-up and sangin' for the first 2 minutes gets your head bobbing slowly until each verse hits you like a machine gun.

in other news, i had a wonderful weekend. brett's birthday was as good as it gets with friends. quality time with aivan. quality time with parents. a decent but losing pac-rim effort. mexican food all around. and cupcake time with katrina. and possibly a new cell phone????
