on friday, katrina and i watched the first half of "Heavyweights" with our friend christine. ironically, we were eating fried chicken. heavyweights is one of those movies that's even funnier when you watch it as a grownup. wish we were able to finish it.
we headed to Mountain Bar in chinatown to party because christine's moving up to the bay. lots of filipinos at that place. it's kind of ghetto too. but they played some great hip hop. we ate chinese food in chinatown, which was my favorite part of the night of course.
saturday, me lady and i had brunch at our friend carly's bakery. they got some good breakfast and awesome pastries. definitely hope to visit that place more often.
at night, justin, lance, and i paid our respects to lola atang. i didn't get to spend too much time with lola, but i've always heard wonderful things about her. may she rest in peace.
sunday was valentine's day, and it was a sweet one. we went to a murder mystery dinner, like the one on saved by the bell except sitting down most of the time. the food was good and everything was entertaining, but it's one of those things that you'll only want to do once really. at least my date was lookin fooiiiiine.
today i just chilled, played some ball, cleaned up a bit, and watched TV.
another thing i did today was review most of the places i mentioned here on my new yelp. holla!
