it's been all about the loved ones the past couple days.
i was on a tour de 60 freeway on sunday. i got to chill with the tatays, watch nanay laugh, bully patrick and cheech, catch up with ate irm and houston rockit, scare emily and alex, chill with the bcf, shop for gordon's birthday gift, and spend time with katrina and her fam all in one day. i was exhausted man.
then on monday we ate korean bbq for gordon's birthday. i ate so much that for a second there, i didn't like the person i was becoming. but i got over it.
following the festivities, we surprised my friend feuy at her apartment because she left today to go to pharmacy school in oregon. it's like survivor with my ucla friends and staying in LA. one by one, they move away, the circle gets smaller, and all we have is the memories. best of luck to feuy!
i met up with katrina today in old town pasadena. it was a mighty good night for cupcaking i tell ya. full moon on a warm night with a breeze. i highly recommend the mccormick & schmick happy hour, but the menu is deceiving. everything is so cheap that you end up ordering so much that the bill is about the cost of a normal meal. mM!
keeping it going tomorrow with a cousin night in LA and then a ucla weekend in SD.
