yesterday, my boss came by my cubicle, and i was eating el pollo loco at my desk. he saw my food and said el pollo loco in a latin accent and then proceeded to cha cha behind my cubicle wall. imagine fit finlay doing luis castillo's sack dance. thank goodness for the cubicle wall, i might've choked on my food if i had to see what his hips were doing.

playing basketball with people from japan is quite a cultural experience. for one thing, these ryus called fouls a lot....on themselves!

who knew that the game of basketball could illustrate cultural differences like that, because anyone who's played a pick-up game in america knows that we play like bitches and will always call things in our favor. it's nice to play with people who play hard and be objective. and most impressive of all, respectful.

today at work, i earned myself a new nickname. this middle-aged black lady who works in accounting called me Mr. Charger. i was so proud. it validated my work as a Charger fan in my office.

let's go chargers! look alive out there tomorrow!!!
