Nerves.

so i took a new job last week. as my boy bruno would say, ach-yaaaa!

the only downside is: i'm nervous as hell.

the new job will be demanding; my current job wasn't. no one at the client or agency gives a damn about my job now, but the new one is considered "high profile". not just within the agency, but i'd guess within the entire city of LA. the biggest accounts to work on in this town are movie studios and auto brands, and i've got a visible role on one of the latter.

i've been lazy as hell at my current job. i gave myself the excuse of "this isn't what i really want anyway" or "i'm just not enjoying this enough to try."

though the new job isn't my one true calling in life (that is still TBD), it's one that i did want. and i know i'll enjoy it 100x more than what i'm doing now. so throw those excuses out the window (they were poor excuses anyway).

while i've had experience as a media planner, it was on a dinky account that no one cared about. so i didn't land this gig with epic stories of how i put in work on an account as big as the one i'm taking on now; i landed it cause i basically tim tebow'd this bitch. (read: i gave all the right answers and showed great passion in my interviews without actually having the mechanics and in-game experience to prove i can hang at the next level, and some poor suckers bought it!)

only question is, will i turn out to be more like john elway or kyle orton?
