Today.

today is kuya jr.'s birthday. my earliest memories of kuya jun are from when he lived with us. i don't remember much, other than feeling like it was fun to have someone like an older sibling living in the house. things would get boring when all there was to do was beat up on poor defenseless lance. so happy birthday kuya jr., and thanks for always adding fun to my life for as long as i can remember.

the news about me leaving the company is starting to spread at work. there's nothing interesting about that except i get attention from my co-workers, and who doesn't love that.

in order to un-scare myself after i wrote my last entry, here are the wonderful and splendid reasons why i took the job:

- it'll be fast-paced. fast pace can be stressful at times, but most importantly, it keeps my ass AWAKE.

- my client is big enough that i'll have to know as much as possible about what the world does on the Internet. it's cool to know an interest of mine is now a responsibility again.

- the job requires me to be good in many areas. as i go through my working life struggling to figure out what i'm best and most talented at, i think a job that lets me practice a variety of skills will help me narrow that search down.

- and finally, i don't mean to be shallow, but the perks should be way better than i get now.

if i can keep these in mind, maybe i'll philip rivers that shit! (that forced metaphor is for you, bcf).
