parts 2 & 3 of my quest to come back to digital media planning were completed this week. i talked to the head of my department and then the head of digital media. both were positive about my decision. the agency's doing some re-structuring of the digital media team in the next couple weeks, and hopefully i'll end up where i want to be.
last night i went to the clippers-lakers game at staples. the clippers lost by 40, but it was all good cause no laker fans harrassed me. why didn't they? cause i was livin large and watchin it from a suite mannnnn. thanks to my boy jorge and usa today's sales reps, i got to be his +1 and watch my fave nba team battle my most hated team like a rich white guy does. i'm not a big fan of the schmoozing and wining & dining that goes on in advertising media, but any chance to watch one of my teams from a suite and i'm there.
finally, the week is over, and we can get to what we've all been waiting for: chargers. playoffs. and hopefully an electrifying victory.
i'll leave the analysis to the experts. i just want a win, no matter how we get it done. go chargers go!!!
