tuesday, aka The 2 Things I Love Most in the 626: my girlfriend and garden cafe! i'm getting hungry again just thinking about those runny eggs and beef over rice.
wednesday, aka Higher Learning: i enrolled in another class on creating advertising. i took one of these back in 2007 at ucla extension, but this one seems a bit more legit. the organization is recognized enough to hold classes at a hot shot ad agency, and they brag about alumni actually getting jobs in the creative offices of major ad agencies. and the best part is, it's all on my company's tab!
thursday, aka Happy Longest Year of Tiff's Life: me, katrina, jus, ate liselle, tiff and cong met at noodle planet to have a humble dinner for tiff's birthday. the big 2-0. one away from 21. watching others turn 21 before you and go spazztick at bars for their first time. well, tiff's too cool for school and is using an ID currently, but few moments in life match the first time you get carded at a 21 & up spot and can use your own ID. so happy birthday tiff, leave some fun for when you're 21!
friday, aka I Told You So: me and jamil went to wooden and played ball. my first game back since the night i felt like i did so well i had to write about it here. and as predicted, i raider'd up the joint with bricks, turnovers, poor defense, and blowout losses in both games i played. i ended the night like 1 for 10 from the field in two games. i feel like i need to play some wii tennis to feel good in something again.
is it me or is it damn near impossible to over-hype these nfl playoff games this weekend?? other than maybe carolina vs. arizona, every game looks to be a head-on collision of evenly matched teams. let's just hope that some lightning in pittsburgh can thaw that cold january air. go chargers!!!
